However, Elon Musk's whimsical decisions are destroying Twitter, and even destructing the entire information society we have collectively built.\n\n## **It's time to take some actions**\n\nSocial media is the invaluable treasure born out of the Web 2.0 era. It has granted us the freedom to express our individual ideas. We are not constrained by those traditional \"gatekeeping\" medias. Twitter, undoubtedly, has emerged as a such a social media platform where we share our thoughts. However, Twitter's rate limits have severely restricted our interactions and hindered efficient access to independent news, let alone those businesses relying on Twitter. It's a threat to our civil society we must confront together.\n\nIndeed this is not a new problem. Centralized social media platforms have consistently faced such issues. It is imperative that we take action. The Internet was meant to connect us closely. We unquestionably possess the rights to control our own data. We should not submit to the rules imposed by Elon Musk. We need a new \"Twitter\", based on a decentralized network. We should have the autonomy to determine the content we create or consume, rather than being controlled by a irrational or foolish individual.\n\n## **Go to your next Twitter**\n\nJust like many of you, disappointed by all centralized social medias and driven by the dream of information freedom, we built the [Crossbell](https://crossbell.io/). It is a social ownership platform and aimed at helping everyone own their social activities for a long time.\n\nWe have long working on solutions to take ownership of your Twitter activities. Today, we are thrilled to share these approaches with you. Whether you still need to engage with Twitter, or you are more radical and want to give Twitter a shit, you can find the solutions you need right here.\n\n### **Get your tCould**\n\nIndeed, it can be challenging to fully escape from Twitter if your followers and followings do not migrate. However, we have [xSync](https://www.xsync.app/). By simply registering with an email and binding your Twitter account, all your tweets will be automatically synced in a decentralized platform. You have a tCould! If you wish to browse through your posted content, you can access it on xFeed. As an example, here is my xFeed page: https://xfeed.app/u/atlas.\n\n![atlas-page-xfeed](ipfs://bafybeiaf6wwsdjd5eddzlfz76prff3uyxpkqv7wc6zbw7a3om7gflqat5q)\n\n### **Start from zero**\n\nIf you find it unbearable to go even one minute without Twitter, then [xFeed](https://xfeed.app/) is the way you go! Similarly, you can just start with an email and then post whatever you want. Just like on Twitter, you and your friends can easily follow each other, comment, and like posts. xFeed offers a familiar social media experience with the greater control and autonomy.\n\n\n![post-xfeed](ipfs://bafkreihs3tv33rq7x2snrtz7efjzml2veg67p3xswg66zdo7oxutsfgla4)\n\n\n## **Always download an archive of your old**\n\nBesides, it is always recommended to download your old Tweets, while you still can. Tutorial is here: https://crossbell-io-updates.xlog.app/How-to-import-all-history-tweets-onto-Crossbell.\n![download-archive](ipfs://bafybeic5rgtxk44oloa2gh33s444xjdazpyudtw3brwuj52nik46hcahim)\n\nMigrate to a new \"Twitter\" is just the beginning. We understand that it only makes a difference when we collectively migrate our tweets. Time is of the essence, and we must take action.\n\nAre you ready?\n\n\n",
